MANAGERS:
This position has the requirements below:
- 6-8 years professional experience and at least 6 years relevant hands-on experience in consulting.
- Proven ability to create simple financial models and business cases; understanding of financial statements and financial structures; ability to support day to day management of project origination and execution; guide research and analysis efforts; management of existing clients, building and maintaining relationships with new clients.Responsible for gathering and collating research data in intelligent form/ format
- SME in Project Schedule Development and PMO Governance, with experience in advanced scheduling concepts and experience utilizing MS Project beyond basic functions.
- Strong data reporting and analytical skills.
- Expert in Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Innovation, creativity and flexibility
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills.
- Experience leading business process mapping and improvement initiatives.
- Education and certification qualifications to the responsibilities of the role, with PMP, CAPM certification a plus.
- Researching external sources and other relevant databases to support company work
- Data analysis & preparation of presentation material for project / pitches
- Coordinating and implementing projects from end to end
- Supervisory qualities and a good team player
- Carry out research and data collection to understand the organisation
- Conduct analysis
- Prepare business proposals and presentations
- Provision, coordination and technical support to teams
- A second degree, MBA, M.Sc
- Other relevant additional qualifications ( if required)
- Candidates should be highly computer literate,A second degree, MBA, M.Sc is an added advantage
- 4 years’ work experience and at least 3 years in Consulting
- Proven experience as a key technical resource leading the development of solutions in client environments
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Demonstrated ability to influence and consult (providing options with pros, cons and risks) around all key technical decisions during project delivery
- Strong interpersonal skills, customer centric attitude, ability to deal with cultural diversity
- Proven team player and team builder
- Experience in the Resources sector
- Team-oriented and collaborative approach
- Ability to operate independently to provide quality work products to an engagement.
- Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills, including strengths in data modeling and data analysis
- Provide the project initiation, scope, requirements and scheduling for new implementations
- Support business design activities.
- Identify, manage, and mitigate all issues and risks to minimize impact to project scope and schedule
- Ensure that project objectives, deliverables and deadlines are achieved
- Act as the team lead on projects, providing coaching, guidance and feedback to develop skills of team members.
- Develops and leads detailed solutions for moderately complex projects.
- Drive and manage the requirements gathering, project tasks/milestone, project status, dependencies, and timelines, to ensure the projects are launched successfully and on time while meeting the business objectives
- Lead project teams in the delivery of service offerings
- Final editing and sign off on project deliverables
- Ensure that project objectives, deliverables and deadlines are achieved
- Other relevant additional qualifications ( if required)
- Candidates should be highly computer literate,Perform basic research and analysis
- Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines
- Ability to work within a team as well as independently
- Fluency in more than one language is beneficial to applicant
- Candidates must be willing to travel around the country
- Experienced and highly proficient with Excel
- Sound working knowledge of financial spreadsheets and financial databases and applications
- Support day-to-day project execution.
- Ensure adequate follow up on existing clients projects
- Generate basic project management reports
- Work with other team members to transform ideas, research findings and insights into tangible value for clients
- A second degree, MBA, M.Sc is an added advantage
