SECTOR : TRADE & EXPORT

LOCATION OF COMPANY: KADUNA STATE           

POSITION: MANAGING DIRECTOR/CEO – TRADE & EXPORT (CEO-TAE)

 

QUALIFICATIONS & OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • First degree in Agriculture, Business Administration or related field

  • A minimum of 12 years’ experience in the agricultural industry

  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in multidisciplinary senior management positions

  • Passion for the agriculture business, especially in trade and export.

  • Excellent knowledge of current thinking in agriculture, trade and export

  • Significant experience and proven track record of developing and executing agriculture trading and export initiatives in a competitive context.

  • Strong network and visibility with main partners relevant to the agriculture sector, with entrepreneurial skills including a proven track record in mobilizing financial resources.

  • Exemplary leadership skills and extensive experience in creating and leading high-performance teams.

  • High level of integrity and credible player in development.

  • Extremely effective communicator across a range of audiences; strong presentation skills.

 

SECTOR : FERTILIZER & CHEMICAL

LOCATION OF COMPANY: KADUNA STATE           

POSITION: GENERAL MANAGER – FERTILIZER & CHEMICAL (GM-FAC)

 

QUALIFICATIONS & OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • First Degree in Business Administration or related field

  • Any other academic or professional qualification in agriculture or chemical engineering field will be an added advantage

  • Minimum of 8 years of plant management experience in fertilizer blending or chemical production

  • Adequate knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation and human resources)

  • Familiarity with industry standard equipment and technical expertise

  • Be knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory and stewardship processes

  • Ability to create accountability and to lead by example

  • Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills

  • Strong management skills, with ability to take charge

  • Must be a hands-on plant manager

  • Analytical knowledge, structured problem-solving skills and expertise in management systems

  • Proven leadership, communication and teamwork skills with demonstrated abilities to both work collaboratively

  • Strategically contribute to the system development to minimize product failure or reprocess to reduce cost of poor quality and improve customer satisfaction

  • Adaptable to changing priorities and capable of working efficiently under pressure

 

SECTOR : FERTILIZER & RICE MILLING

LOCATION OF COMPANY: KADUNA STATE

POSITION: GENERAL MANAGER – FERTILIZER & RICE MILLING (GM-FRM)

 

QUALIFICATIONS & OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Management, Agricultural Economics, Agronomy, Logistics or related field

  • Any other academic or professional qualification in the field of agriculture will be an added advantage

  • Minimum of 8 years’ people and plant management experience; fertilizer blending or rice milling production.

  • In-depth knowledge of fertilizer blending, formulations, milling and packaging equipment and systems including, maintenance activities

  • Adequate knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation and human resources)

  • Ability to create accountability and lead by example

  • Strong team building, decision making and people management skill

  • Must be a hands-on plant manager

  • Proven leadership, communication and teamwork skills with demonstrated ability to both work collaboratively

  • Strategically contribute to the system development to minimize product failure or reprocess to reduce cost of poor quality and improve customer satisfaction

  • Adaptable to changing priorities and capable of working efficiently under pressure

  • Personal relationship skills; Internal: team, employees; External: community, relevant government agencies, organized private sector, decision makers/influencers

  • Develop, maintain an internal communication platform and cascade regularly to ensure involvement, participation and commitment to the objectives of the company at all times.

 

SECTOR : MARINE SERVICES OPERATIONS

LOCATION OF COMPANY: LAGOS STATE

POSITION: GENERAL MANAGER – MARINE SERVICES OPERATIONS (GM-MSO)

 

QUALIFICATIONS & OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • First degree in Marine Engineering or related field

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in Shipping / Marine Operations of which 5 years at managerial level

  • Extensive shore-based operational and general management experience gained within the shipping industry

  • Strong inter-personal and people-oriented management skills with experience of leading and motivating multi-disciplinary teams

  • Substantial experience of working closely with all regulatory bodies and stakeholders

  • Good understanding of ISM / ISO procedures and experience in training of personnel

  • Budgetary management experience with commercial acumen

  • Proactive and innovative attitude

  • Excellent communication skills in English, other languages an advantage

  • Strong interpersonal & negotiation skills, able to deal with clients at a senior level

  • Computer literate and able to utilize analytical and presentation PC tools.

 

 

SECTOR : FERTILIZER BLENDING

LOCATION OF COMPANY: KADUNA STATE    

POSITION: MANAGER – FERTILIZER BLENDING (MGR-FB)

               

 

QUALIFICATIONS & OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field is required.

  • Any additional academic or professional qualifications in the agricultural field will be advantageous.

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in fertilizer blending is required.

  • Proven managerial experience

  • Knowledge and experience in competitive inventory management, customer credit worthiness, and product knowledge and proficiency.

  • Understand the processes of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory, and stewardship.

  • Must be able to obtain and keep all necessary certifications, licenses, and permits from appropriate institutions.

  • Exhibits critical skills such as business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making, and skill development.

  • Excellent team-building, decision-making, and people-management abilities

  • Should have analytical skills, structured problem-solving abilities, and management system expertise

  • Contribute strategically to system development to reduce product failure or reprocessing costs and improve customer satisfaction.

  • Capable of working efficiently under pressure and adapting to changing priorities

 

SECTOR: RICE MILLING

LOCATION OF COMPANY – (KADUNA STATE)          

POSITION: MANAGER – RICE MILLING PLANT (MGR-RM)

 

QUALIFICATIONS & OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science Technology, Agriculture Science, Crop/Food Production, or a related field.

  • At least 7 years’ relevant experience in the food industry, preferably in rice milling

  • Impressive demonstrable track record and experience in Rice Processing /Milling

  • Have considerable knowledge of good management practices.

  • Knowledge and experience in competitive inventory management, customer credit worthiness, and product knowledge and proficiency.

  • Understand the processes of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory, and stewardship.

  • Must be able to obtain and keep all necessary certifications, licenses, and permits from appropriate institutions.

  • Exhibit essential skills such as business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making, and skill development.

  • Excellent team-building, decision-making, and people-management abilities
